Barstow Humane Society contracts with the City of Barstow And San Bernardino County in California. They are here to help. Sadly, someone vandalized the organization’s building on Sunday night. In a time when the community and shelter pets have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, what kind of person intentionally destroys a rescue facility’s front door.
“Breaking our front door takes away from helping our pets. The money we have to help them now has to be used to fix this door which won’t be cheap,” the organization posted on their Facebook page.
Fortunately the rescue has surveillance cameras and managers intend to file a police report. All of the pets are safe.
