In Philadelphia, the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell continues to push back on the controversy to honor Michael Vick at the Pro Bowl.
According to AbcNews, in a news conference on Wednesday, Goodell stated he doesn’t anticipate any changes with Vick.
“Over the last, what is it, nine years or so, we have supported Michael in his, what I think his recognition of the mistake he made. He’s paid a heavy price for that. He’s been accountable for it. He’s worked aggressively with the Humane Society and other institutions to deal with animal rights and to make sure people don’t make the same mistake he made, and I admire that,” stated Goodell.
Goodell then continued saying there are just some people who will never forgive him. More than 563,000 people have signed a Change.org petition calling on the NFL to revoke the honor. More petitions have since emerged and the telephone lines to the NFL have continued to ring. The petition graphically describes the egregious cruelty inflicted upon the dogs at Vick’s BadNewz kennels.
“I know that there are people out there that will never forgive him,” Goodell added. “He knows that. But I think this is a young man that has really taken his life in a positive direction and we support that. So I don’t anticipate any change.”

THERE ARE “SPECIAL” PLACES IN HELL FOR THOSE WHO HONOR
RUTHLESS MURDERERS!
BOYCOTT THE NFL!
Would you forgive a serial killer? Do you really think a serial killer, who got a real “kick” out of torturing and taking hundreds of lives, could actually feel regret for what he’d done? NO! His regret was in being caught and found guilty, thus being made to pay – and lose – millions of dollars, as well as his freedom… for an extremely short time. Serial killers should NOT be honored, period!!
