15-year-old boy posted video of himself slamming tiny dog to ground

A disturbing video showing a 15-year-old boy slamming a tiny dog to the ground has resulted in his arrest, according to a press release from the Hollister Police.

On January 30, the Sunnyvale Animal Control and the Hollister Police Animal Care and Services responded  to an animal cruelty  report involving the teen and an eight-month-old Maltese puppy named Bella. A Snapchat video submitted to authorities showed the teen holding the tiny black and white dog in his arms before tossing the dog to the ground. The video showed the five-pound puppy had been thrown and landed from seven to ten feet in front of the suspect.

Additional investigation from the police indicate previous incidents of alleged animal cruelty to the same dog with the same teen. One previous account shows the teen kicking the puppy and the pup landing several feet away.

Bella is currently in the custody of the Hollister Animal Shelter and has been examined by a veterinarian. The teen faces felony animal cruelty charges and on Saturday was booked into the San Benito County Juvenile Hall.

Anyone with information is asked to contact AC Supervisor Kara Ells at 831.636.4320.

Let’s just hope that he’s tried as an adult, he’s done this before, he will keep doing it and if the judge doesn’t give him more than a slap on the wrist, he will eventually graduate to people! Glad the puppy was rescued.

Violent felony-level crimes against humans by “teens” result in them more often that not, now being prosecuted as adults: Felony level offenses against companion animals and wildlife deserve no lesser consideration!

PROSECUTE this little cretin to the fullest extent of the law, and let this stain his record for the remainder of his “adult” life!

Prayers that this precious little soul suffered no irreparable injuries, will NEVER be returned to that household, and that this troglodyte is NEVER ALLOWED TO HAVE NOR BE NEAR ANY ANIMAL, EVER AGAIN!

I agree with you 100%! This is a serial killer in the making. If he is psychotic, has a character disorder, psychotherapy will be useless. Society needs to be protected from him.

Absolutely, this punk will continue to progress into a serial killer if not stopped NOW! He has proven his total lack of humanity at every level – I don’t give a crap if he has a damn mental disorder – he should be sitting in an adult jail where HE can be a victim of every predatory inmate there – and when he cries for Mommy no one cares.

  3. Kathy Colbert says:

Treat him like an adult and charge him with felony animal abuse! He needs to spend time in jail because that is where he is headed if allowed back out on the streets. He will continue to abuse animals and eventually people if not stopped now!

I think this precious little treasure should be rehomed ASAP because it’s obvious to most people that this current living situation is unsafe. The current family lacks “common sense” and they have no compassion for animals……. why would they allow their teenager to repeatedly abuse their precious furbaby???

In an ideal world, the remaining family members should have to pass an animal care course before they can have another pet……

Absolutely heartbreaking and disgusting situation…… I hope this monster is locked up ASAP and that precious furbaby rehomed…….

This POS is on his way to hurting humans……. I think he belongs behind bars, away from ALL other living beings…..

Put this cretin in jail and send his parents as well Their teaching him that this action is OK needs addressed. This is a pattern and needs serious jail time to stop it. This is NOT OK

Lets Just hope this ” Little Shit Bird” psychopath doesn’t just get a slap on the little finger and put in custody of his family as they MOST CERTAINLY HAVE to KNOW HE HAS SERIOUS ISSUES>>> THEY need to be arrested too! Just yesterday we saw a MOTHER TURNED HER OWN SON IN FOR ABUSING and BREAKING the legs of the family pet!!! Now this is the type of Families we need more of !!

It says anyone with more information to call. What more information do they need the psychopath did it. That’s all they need. Now lock ???? him up. Kinda hard to imagine that his parents never knew this kid was like this. He had to have shown some outward signs of this. Something had to look ???? or feel off about this kids moods.

Put him in a cell with animal lovers who are big and strong. Then lets see how this punk feels about picking on a tiny dog. This teen is just a punk.

His parents should be fine for NOT showing him and teaching him to LOVE animals. If they knew or could see he had no concern for animals…they should have been getting him help. He is a murderer in training.
