Bonded seniors Jacob and Isaac sat quietly in the shelter lobby as their owner walked away two days after Christmas. They had no idea what was happening when they unknowingly looked up at their family for the last time. It had been a quick goodbye, and suddenly a lifetime of good memories were gone. Now the duo sits together in a metal kennel as Carson Animal Care Center in Carson, California. Their family no longer had time for them. What did they do wrong?

Share their plights and hopefully Jacob and Isaac can be adopted together. Sharing saves lives. Sadly surrendered dogs are the first ones to be euthanized as the shelter becomes crowded. Follow the Facebook page here for Saving Carson Dogs.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your having your favorites among those to “see first.
Family lost everything, but their puppy saved them from death – read more about the young canine hero.
Shared all their Facebook pages on my Public Facebook page as well as Twitter.
Please don’t kill them there is someone out there for them give them a chance they don’t need to be on borrowed time
Too bad the shelter people can’t take the person’s name and make sure they never own another animal!
Why?
???? ???? ???? ???? ???? ????
Fucking loser people dump them like trash when the get old. Karma will get you guys too when you get old.,,,
Fucking scum owner I hope you fucking dropdead you piece of shit
How horribly sad. These 2 small dogs probably knew no other owner and now poof, like magic, gone from their lives. Thanks for at least keeping them together and I pray they both get adopted by the same family. They are so small and would be perfect company for each other when left alone. They look like a very docile, well behaved dogs, and they would bring much joy to any family. Pray they get adopted this weekend and together. Hope the owners suffer their own hardship because of what they did.
I still don’t understand how people could just abandon their senior dogs. Shared on FB. Please don’t kill Jacob and Isaac. They deserve a forever loving home together.
WTF is wrong with “people” (I am using this term “people” loosely)???
I hope these treasures can be adopted and spend the rest of their lives in a furever home where they will be treated as beloved family members……
It is tragic to think of them dying alone, afraid and worst of all unloved……
I hope for the absolute worst lives and deaths for their former owners (who deserve to burn in Hell forever for their cruelty to “dump” these senior treasures)….
Death wish for these bastards who abandon their pets. These POS need to have their name and contact details published so payback can be enacted.
You are on the right track here Jennifer.
The owner/family ought to be ashamed with themselves abandoning these 2 senior dogs.
I hope karma gets there revenge on this family.
Taking a dog on means life and not discard them when they get older or have no time for them any more
I hope that they stay together when they are adopted as that would be so cruel in separating them
I totally agree with all!!! Dub humans deserve all they get from karma!!!!hang tight boys. There’s someone !!!!
Thank God someone adopted them! Said picture was moved to safe album!
I live in maryland, but would love to take these little bonded brothers. Please , if someone could help me save them, i would pay any fees involved. Please PM me. [email protected]
I don’t like to judge the owners, since I don’t know their situation, but I would live in my car before I’d give my dogs up to be killed.
Even though these two dogs were saved, there are plenty more dogs just as deserving who need good homes. Even big ugly dogs need love. We should all endeavor to be part of the solution.
I agree with you……
My husband and I specifically adopt “medically fragile” animals and provide whatever they need, including chemotherapeutic treatment, physical rehabilitation…… We have had several animals with heart conditions, blind, quadriplegic, cancer, epilepsy….. we are NOT afraid of dealing with health care…….
Rescued is my fave breed and they are all special treasures who want to love and be loved……
We are particularly in love with elderly chihuahuas (since we learned that they were one of the “most euthanized” breeds)……. I am delighted to learn these 2 treasures were rehomed!!!!!
Nothing is more tragic than an elderly treasure, betrayed by their family, who dies in the shelter alone, afraid and, worst of all unloved……
ADOPTED AND MOVED TO SAFE ALBUM. WOO HOO!!
