Sunny, a seven-year-old Labrador retriever, remains missing from his 93-year-old owner’s home in Southern California.

Norman Feigenbaum had been making a quick trip to the supermarket on his mobile chair, but when he returned the yellow Lab had escaped from his West Hills home after running through a fence in the backyard.

Norm lives alone, and Sunny has provided needed companionship and love.

she’s a loving, sweet, fine dog and i’ve got to find her.

Sunny had been adopted as a puppy. According to the nonprofit where Sunny had been adopted, the dog has “extreme separation anxiety when away from Norm.”

A flyer about Sunny’s disappearance urges the public to not chase her. Someone had spotted her about a half-mile from home, but since then there have been no reports. Dog Days Search & Rescue have joined in to help.

Area residents are asked to check their video cameras dating back to October 4 and continue to check for sightings. Sunny was not wearing a collar, but she is microchipped. People are urged NOT to chase her. If sighted, please call 803-405-9485 or 803-422-9842.
