In Citrus County, Florida, the Citrus County Fire Rescue went over and above rescue efforts this week, after they made room for an extra passenger that needed a ride home after a car crash.
Let’s introduce Bella – an over-the-top adorable miniature pony, whose owner had been involved in a crash, leaving Bella with no way to get home. The vehicle she had been riding in was too damaged to continue, but thankfully, no one had been injured.
So how was Bella supposed to get home? Fortunately, one of the battalion chiefs had a vehicle where Bella fit perfectly into the backseat of his truck.
This week, Battalion Chief 1, Engine 8, Rescue 8, and Rescue 52 responded to a motor vehicle accident. Thankfully, no one was injured — including a miniature pony named Bella.
The photo shows how perfectly the mini adjusted to the ride home; she was placed on a red tarp and was given a bit of hay to munch on and keep her calm during the trip home.
Talk about a pony express!
