Seven months is a long time to wait for a loving home, and that’s exactly how long Mozart, a two-year-old Boxer mix, has been at the Ohio SPCA. This goofy, playful pup has yet to receive a single application or adoption visit, and the shelter is hoping to find him the perfect match soon.

Mozart came to the SPCA after being removed from unsuitable living conditions. Despite his difficult past, he’s remained a happy-go-lucky dog who loves everyone he meets. He gets along great with children and other dogs, and the shelter is happy to do a cat test if needed. Mozart already knows some tricks and is eager to please; making him a great candidate for further training.

This handsome pup has a fairly active side and would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of playtime and exercise.

The Ohio SPCA is asking the community to share Mozart’s story in hopes of finding him his forever home. He’s waited long enough for a chance at happiness!
