Lancelot is scheduled to die tomorrow afternoon at the Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. This handsome boy is two-years-old, weighs 83 pounds and has tested negative for heartworms.

Shelter notes from the staff at Lancelot’s arrival on February 18, indicate the following behavior:

Last call for growling and barking at select people who approach his kennel at times

Dog test- has been tested with male and female, with male had loose body language and wanted to mount then nip, with female was overly excited then made the female upset, is medium to high energy, not sure about cats, is ok with men and women not sure about children (best to do a meet and greet to be sure) no issue with leashing/unleashing or to take in and out of the kennel.

Shelter notes

Volunteers at the shelter have also weighed in, and state once Lancelot is outside and away from other dogs, he becomes a “big goof” when left alone. Although he is not sure of strangers, once outside with the volunteer, Lancelot was loving and “full of kisses.” He loves playing ball and fetch and loves to splash in the water.

Lancelot must be tagged by 5:00 p.m. today (Thursday). Follow on Facebook here.

Adoptions must be done in person from 12-6pm when the shelter is open to the public.
