At G Motors, a car dealership located in northwest Houston, a pair of angry pups in the alleged hot pursuit of stray cats, climbed cars and ripped away bumpers and fenders during three separate occasions between November 6 and November 18 as captured on surveillance footage.

According to Chron.com, the dogs did quite a bit of destruction on five different automobiles with damages estimated to be between $100,000 to $350,000 according to the sales manager Gaby Fakhoury. No one at the dealership could believe dogs could be strong enough to do that kind of damage, but the videos supplied the proof.

The dogs tore bumpers, scratched the paint and jumped on the vehicles at night. Over the course of a month, the damages quickly added up. It also caused the dealership to lose customers.

And then one month later, the jig was up! BARC Animal Shelter in Houston were able to capture the dogs, and they were both brought to the shelter. One of the dogs, a neutered brown and white Staffordshire terrier, dubbed Dasher, has been at the shelter since December 8. He is healthy and has not shown any signs of being aggressive.

Pet Harbor adoption listing:

My name is Dasher.

I am a neutered male, brown and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix.

The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Dec 08, 2023.

The other dog, a German shepherd mix, is also about four years of age and was captured around New Year’s. He is currently being evaluated and is expected to be available for adoption soon.

And no, anyone who adopts either of these two cuties will not be liable for the damages they caused.
