In Rubidoux, California, Riverside County Animal Services is investigating two incidents in connection with dogs being dumped and abandoned on the side of the road.

Both incidents were captured on video by the Sierra Pacific Furbabies Animal Rescue. According to the organization’s founder, David Loop, many dogs and cats have been abandoned in the same location in the past, but Loop has not had video showing the disturbing incidents until now.

Delilah

In March, Loop found a six-week-old abandoned puppy on his property and using his surveillance camera video, was able to see the person leaving the puppy behind and then leaving in his vehicle. Loop saw the vehicle pull up, stop, pull the puppy out and leave the defenseless little one sitting on the side of the road. Loop said the puppy, he named Delilah, had spent 24 hours “in the cold and rain, so confused, going in and out of my yard.”

And more recently, just last Thursday, the surveillance video revealed another disturbing abandonment of a dog. A female Rottweiler was pulled out of a silver four-door sedan when the man stopped and opened the back door. Moments after the dog was out of the car, the man left.

Pebbles

Check out the video of Pebbles – apparently very grateful she now has a loving pal.

We are working with the property owner on two separate incidents. We have the license plates but don’t want to compromise the investigation at this point by releasing any information.
