At a Texas shelter, a small, white poodle wearing a pale pink dress, sits nervously in a small cage waiting for her teenage owner to come and take her home. Sadly, the situation can not have a happy reunion for this little dog; her family is gone – they have been deported.
The shelter posted a plea for help:
she was brought in by border patrol after her owner was deported. They’re not supposed to do that so it’s a super unfortunate situation.
Came in wearing a dress and harness, was obviously loved.

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC have stepped forward and offered to help. According to the shelter, the yet unnamed dog is about six-years-old and is terrified.
Sweet though, can pick her up with no issue, just very shut down.

Although this little pup does appear healthy, she will need blood work, vaccinations, heartworm testing and wellness check before being cleared for adoption. She is expected to be available for adoption soon.
At times, a Border Patrol supervisor in the area had made arrangements for situations where immigrants separated from their pets would be dropped off at rescue organizations where contact information would be exchanged in order that a reunification could take place at a later time. Unfortunately, the increased number of pets being left behind – either voluntarily, abandoned or like this little poodle, have become enormous tasks, financially, staffing needs requirements as well as the emotional impact for rescue organizations.

Baby girl and her family were on the border in Texas . This is a very common occurrence there . There is protocol in this part of the country that was not followed. We of course will make sure baby girl gets whatever she needs , medically and a new home .
We need your help to pay for her medical bills. She needs a complete round of tests , blood work to make sure she is healthy .
