At the Fulton County Animal Shelter in Atlanta, Georgia, amid the chaos, the barking, the stress, the countless visitors passing through the shelter everyday hoping to adopt a new best friend, two-year-old Delroy still holds hope his new family will come. Perhaps he dreams of the “let’s go bye bye in the car” from a wonderful human speaking directly to him, leash in hand and offering him a lifetime of love and adventure?

In the meantime, waiting for his dreams to come true, Delroy copes. He finds comfort and solace in his dog friend and roommate in their shelter enclosure.

…comfort in the friend they live with, with any human interaction they get, and with the knowledge and hope that this is temporary and their home and family is out there.

waiting for that someone who will give them a chance to show what a good dog they are.
