A puppy in Ohio finds herself in need of a new home after her former family surrendered her to a shelter because she “didn’t listen” to them. The adorable five-month-old mixed breed is currently in the care of the Pickaway County Dog Shelter, which is trying to find her a devoted new owner.
On Thursday morning, the animal welfare agency writes:
This little girl was surrendered to us for not listening to owner. She is 5 months old and ready to find her forever home.
The shelter describes the pup as a German shepherd/Labrador retriever mix – the breed combination should result in an intelligent, faithful companion for her lucky new family.
As a reminder, puppies require consistent reinforcement and direction to mold them into well-trained companions. If this pup was not “listening” it is a direct result of how she was being (or not being) trained. Are you interested in giving this puppy her best life ever?
