Gardena, CA – On August 13, an 11-year-old dog named Nucky was walked into the Carson Animal Services shelter facility and handed over to strangers as his owner explained that he was a responsibility that they no longer wanted.

Now, this senior dog is confused and wanting just one thing…to leave the shelter facility. The Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page writes:

SENIOR 💟😢OWNER SURRENDER😢

🔷🐶🐾 Please FOSTER or ADOPT Today! 🐾🐶🔷

This sweet soul was left at the shelter at 11 years old because the owner did not warrant responsibility any longer, and they barely left any details about him except for his name. He’s very confused and all he wants is you to take him out of there and take him home so he can feel safe again.

It’s hard to imagine what Nucky is feeling right now. He is undoubtedly frightened and lost with no one, and nothing around him that is familiar. Please help turn Nucky’s fate around by sharing his adoption information to help find him a new, committed owner.
