San Bernardino, CA – A young German shepherd, just a year of age, is desperate for affection from the lonely confinement of her kennel run at the San Bernardino City Animal Control. The staff has named the young dog Maxine, and she has been waiting for someone to choose her since September.
On Sunday, an advocate shared a photo of the homeless pup, writing:
This beautiful dog is desperate for affection. Watch the video posted in the comments section. She has been in the shelter at City of San Bernardino Animal Services since September 20, 2022. She’s only a year old 🙁 Staff named her Maxine #A549158
Maxine longs for the touch of a kind hand and the sound of a loving voice – she longs to be wanted by someone. Please help this beautiful dog find a home for the holidays! Networking saves lives. You can find Maxine’s adoption information below. Please remember to direct all inquiries about her to the shelter – the Pet Rescue Report is NOT the point of contact.
