At 13 years of age, a dog named Jimmy finds himself sitting in a Georgia animal control shelter kennel run. The senior dog was surrendered to the facility when his owner became too sick to care for him anymore.
Volunteers for the Barrow County Animal Control are hopeful that someone will find it in their heart to give Jimmy a chance. Dogs at this animal control facility would essentially be invisible if not for photos posted on the Saving Barrow Animal Control Pets Facebook page…there is no Petfinder link or county website to feature the homeless animals.
The Facebook post for Jimmy reads:
Jimmy is a senior dog, but he wants you to know that he still has plenty of energy for going on walks! He is great on a leash, sits on command, and is very friendly! Jimmy was surrendered to the shelter when his person became too ill to care for him.
You can lend this old boy a hand by sharing his information. You can find Jimmy on Facebook at this link.
