Some things are truly stranger than fiction. On Tuesday afternoon, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department shared a real-life, stray cat traps woman in home story with Facebook followers.

The witty post on social media reads:

Yes, this is fur-real… we’re not kitten around. Yesterday morning, a Graham woman called 911 to report that she was trapped in her house by a cat that didn’t belong to her.

The woman told the dispatcher that the cat was “vomiting everywhere” and destroying her property.

A deputy was dispatched to the woman’s house and removed the frisky feline from her property – no word on the kitty’s fate.

The department wrote:

Our deputies responded and, although the cat was a fur-midable opponent, they were able take it into custody.

We hope the cat is feline much better now.
