Suffering dog found in bushes on 4th of July now named Freedom

On the 4th of July, a kind woman was shocked when she found a severely injured dog lying in the bushes near her home. She comforted him with water and immediately sought out help. When Stray Rescue of St. Louis was called, they rushed to the dog’s rescue.

“We are sorry this is graphic but this is our current reality. Our 4th of July begins with a true freedom ride. We don’t know what happened to him – whether he was burned, dragged under a car, or maybe had something poured on him… we aren’t sure. But he is heading to our trauma center now. He is free from pain and suffering, free from the horror he has faced, free from the heat, free from being terrified and lost, free from misery. We named him FREEDOM,” the organization posted on their Facebook page.

Freedom is experiencing pain, however the staff is making him as comfortable as possible while cleaning his wounds.

It is understandable how difficult it is to see Freedom’s photos, but this is reality. In most cases, the images get better as the dogs find love and comfort while being treated for their physical and emotional injuries. We will be updating Freedom’s progress as more information is made available.

We’ll do everything we can to get him to the other side. We feel so bad for him. Strayrescue.org/Stracks

Please keep us updated on his recovery. Thankfully he collapsed in front of the right house to get saved. He looks like a was used for fight or bait dog.
If you need to raise money please post it and I’ll share it as I did this story
