A tiny Maltese dog was tied in a red Christmas ribbon and stuffed inside of a flower pot and wrapped in plastic before being abandoned and left to drown in Camlough Lake, Co Down, Ireland.
In a Facebook post from Pets Lost and Found Co. Armagh, the dog’s muzzle had been tied with the ribbon to keep him from barking. The dog’s lifeless body was found on Sunday by a dog warden who had been on a fishing trip in the Camlough Lake.
“We won’t be posting pics but we have been made aware of a small Maltese type dog found by a person fishing in Camlough/Bessbrook area. The dog was tied round the muzzle, in a bag with a plant pot attached and drowned!!
All relevant authorities have been notified.
Someone knows what evil piece of sh1t done this, they will be caught. If you know anything, suspect anything please get in touch. If you were near Keggal road or the lake recently and have dash cam footage could you please check it asap.

An investigation into the dog’s death has been launched. It is not known if the dog had a microchip at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. If you see something, say something. Be the voice for those who cannot speak.
