Dog owners in Christian County, Kentucky are trying to figure out another case of brutal animal cruelty where a dog was cut open and killed. The Christian County’s Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
According to Fox News, two dogs in the area have been killed and dismembered; his body left near his home for his owners to find. The degree of cruelty has been sending chills through the spines of animal lovers in the community.
One of the victims was a dog named Dozer, a 13-year-old rescued pit bull from the Christian County Animal Shelter. According to his owners, Dozer was a gentle gain and his main purpose in life was to receive affection and love from his family.
Dog owners are being urged to keep a close eye on their pets and not let their dogs loose in the neighborhood.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Hopkinsville Police Department. If you see something, say something. Be the voice for those who cannot speak.
