senior dog's heart broken

A broken heart – senior dog returned to shelter after adopter’s landlord kicked her out

A senior dog has a broken heart after she was forced out of her new home and returned to the animal shelter where she was adopted from. According to the volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, the senior dog spent months behind bars last summer before someone finally decided to give her a home.

Everything fell apart when the person who adopted China (ID# A4110001) was forced to return her dog after the landlord said that the dog was not allowed. The Facebook page for dogs at the Carson animal shelter wrote:

CHINA spent last summer in the Shelter. After 3 months an adopter came and promised she would never be brought back. She was brought back today for landlord issues and her heart is completely broken. The look in here eyes is so painful to see. She needs help fast, She gets along with everyone.

What you can do to help China

China needs the help of strangers who are willing to share her adoption information.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you have to do more than just “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”

That is so wrong. These landlords walk in fear based ignorance and they hinder people from getting dogs, which means these landlords cause more deaths because dogs are euthanized for lack of space. It gets me so mad.

Couldn’t this person who promised not to bring her back, try to move , try find rescue or foster home for dog? Not bring her to high kill shelter!!

They should publish the landlord’s name who I hope has a cursed life and then is euthanized! I am praying for China and sharing!

It appears that Carson is trying harder to place animals NOW since China was able to survive 3 months there… She is such a beautiful and appears very gentle… I Hope that CARSON VOLUNTEERS will advocate and try and find rescues to assist this ole girl… is she too young to contact frosted faces…

I’ve contacted Kelly at Carson. I have offered to foster her until her original owner can get a permanent place. This way it saves them both. The only issue is I’m in GA; but Kelly & I have conversated before. We can get transport to help if she agrees. If anyone else can help us to do this please advise. My number is 478-456-8764.

That’s fantastic Jennifer, I’m sure the adopter would want this girl back but her hands are tied in that location. So glad there are people like you in this world.

There is an animal transport service that is staffed by volunteers and will transport animals to safe locations – “Freedom Train Animal Rescue Transports” and can be reached by email at “rhonda@freedomtraintransports.com”. I hope you are able to foster China who desperately needs to get out of Carson.

That’s Bullshit. That landlord needs his ass kicked. The owner also needs to be in trouble for allowing this to hapoen. Poor baby.

Why should she be in trouble?? She had an asshole of a land lord. It was not her nor China’s fault. Only sub-human landlords.
