In Cherokee County, Georgia a sheriff’s deputy rescued a tiny fawn from a hole in a construction site in Carmichael Farms. According to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the baby had been stuck in the hole for a few days before someone spotted the animal and called the sheriff’s office for help.
And so arrived our hero of saving helpless wildlife, Cherokee County Deputy Addison Base, who carefully descended into the hole and tenderly scooped up the tiny animal into his arms and safely placed it on the ground. Almost immediately, the fawn took off and ran into the nearby forest area.
“It’s never a dull moment in the Freehome Precinct area. Great job Deputy Bass!!!!
