No golf clubs needed to helped retrieve a stranded dog that became trapped in a pond at a golf course in Westminster, Colorado the other day.

According to the Facebook page and the video shared by the Westminster Police Department, Animal Management Officer Wood rescued the dog named Luna after responding to reports the dog had become stuck in deep water at the Westminster Golf Course; the unknown depth of the water was too dangerous for anyone to enter.
The rescuer was able to use a leash and towel to gently lift Luna to safety after luring her over to the side of the pond with treats.

We can clearly assume Luna did not make par.

Fortunately, Luna was not injured and was able to be reunited with her family.
Many thanks to our officers who cherish every life – even the ones with four legs.
