Gina Moore lives in British Columbia, Canada, and just days ago rushed into her barn to save one of her baby goats being chased and captured by a juvenile cougar.
Security camera footage showed several goats running away through the barn as the cougar is spotted in the video wrapping its powerful paws and jaw around one of the small goats. The screaming of the goat immediately drew Moore’s attention, and as she admitted, her adrenaline kicked in, and she was on the way to the rescue.

Now imagine – Moore was barefoot, but that didn’t matter to her, although the outcome could have been serious. She screamed at the cougar and landed a decisive kick into the cougar’s midsection, prompting the cat to drop the goat and quickly run away.

The would be victim was on of Moore’s four Nigerian dwarf goats; they are named Leo, Mick, Donnie and Raff from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies and cartoons.
As to dealing with predatory wildlife in the area, Moore says she is very protective of her herd. Last year, a black bear attacked and killed one of her miniature horses. She attributes the increase in wild animal attacks to the loss of habitat due to construction; including more homes and shopping centers.
The baby goat survived the attack and is healing.
Check out the video, however be warned parts of it are very graphic and can be disturbing to certain viewers:
