Her name is Princess, and oh gosh, is she adorable. Princess was found as a stray wandering near 5th Avenue and Del Rosa in Highland on November 13, 2025. Passersby walked around her even though Princess approached everyone – likely looking for her owner.
Princess waits in a kennel at the Devore Animal Shelter in San Bernardino.
Not much is known about this 9-week-old, unaltered female who looks very much like a German shepherd. She is friendly and playful although a little frightened of strangers.

More volunteers, foster homes and adopters are needed. Please encourage volunteers across the country through social media to volunteer at the shelters and to walk the dogs who sadly get no time out of their kennels. Socializing with them is so important to their emotional and psychological well being until they are lucky enough to be adopted.
