At the Stray Rescue of St, Louis, a very important rescue mission took center stage on Monday. An 84-year-old woman called the rescue organization sobbing and begging for help. Just two months prior, her son had dropped off his dogs at the woman’s home; she had no idea one of the dog’s had been pregnant and subsequently had just given birth to 10 puppies.
Unable to care for the new mom and her puppies, the senior woman reached out for help. Rescuers arrived and were greeted by the sweet mother who patiently waited while her puppies were picked up one by one and placed gently in a basket to be transported to the rescue’s medical section.
this mama is sooooo nice. she lvoed her walk this morning, and then wanted to get right back to her babies. she’s probably also the cleanest mom we’ve ever met.

Of course, the shelter is no place for a new mom with such small puppies. The barking in the background had to have been distracting to her while trying to nap and then nurse her very large family.
Just hours later, the entire family had been placed in a foster home. Many thanks to the heroes for those who cannot speak.
