In Santa Clara, California, two awesome teenagers rescued six abandoned puppies, and we couldn’t be prouder of these youngsters. According to the Santa Clara Fire Department, the teens knocked on the door Sunday night holding a bin full of tiny puppies, asking for help.
The teens told the firemen they found the six puppies on the side of the road in the area of Scott Lane Elementary School; the bin had been sealed shut. The boys had no intentions of leaving the defenseless little ones behind and drove to several veterinarian offices, but because it was Sunday night, all had been closed.
That’s when they decided to go to the firehouse and ask for help.
thank you to these young folks for helping! The temperature had dropped significantly with the sunset, and we are certain that their decision to act and find help created a positive outcome for the pups!

The puppies have been transferred to the Silicon Valley Animal Control for care.
