In Tulsa, Oklahoma, deputies from the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office have become the heroes to seven newborn puppies. The tiny, day-old pups had been found in a paper bag and left to die when a call from a concerned citizen came into the office on Saturday evening asking for help.

Officers responded, and here’s where the heartbreaking story of tiny, innocent lives abandoned outdoors changed. The awesome deputies hand-fed all of them using an eye dropper until they could take them to the shelter on Sunday.

Many thanks to our heroes. Stop by their Facebook page and send them a sweet word or two of praise. We love our animal rescue heroes.
