Swazie is a 16-year-old Labrador retriever mix who brought the internet to tears last Monday after his owner forgot to take the blankets out of the dryer. Swazie is no slouch when it comes to his comfort, and instead of making a vocal barking complaint, the dog climbed into the dryer and made himself comfortable on top of a soft, warm comforter.
The viral video on TikTok posted by @mandypierce32, has garnered more than 16.9 million views. Check it out:
According to Newsweek, the owner is used to Swazie snuggling up in blankets anywhere he can find them – whether the couch, the floor or waiting to be washed and dried in the laundry room. This time is was a bit different; the blanket was one of the children’s comforters and the woman had left the dryer door open to retrieve it, but one of the children called her to check it out. And there was Swazie cuddled in the dryer with the warm blanket as though it was just a routine occurrence.
No doubt, followers of TikTok loved the adorable clip, and the comments were almost just as adorable as Swazie cuddled up in that dryer.
