Meet Snoopy; this seven-year-old pup has been at the Benton-Franklin Humane Society in Kennewick, Washington for more than 630 days. The black and white mixed breed has medical problems involving his eyesight, hearing and weight associated with Cushing’s disease. Nevertheless, he’s perfect in his own way, and would love to become part of a loving family.

Snoopy’s video recently went viral on TikTok where it has garnered more than 2.8 million views.

POV. You’re a senior dog with special needs who has been a shelter dog for 632 days and nobody want to take you home.”

The clip was posted by shelter volunteer Julie Saraceno, a graphic designer and photographer. Her video was perfect; viewers were brought to tears, and lots of emotions bring lots of attention; all good signs for Snoopy. And there he is lying in his kennel cage hunched over a blanket – his head resting quietly on the floor while the rest of the dogs can be heard barking in the background.

Please share Snoopy’s plight with friends, family and social media contacts. Snoopy is looking for an “end of life foster or adopter.” Perhaps it’s you? Perhaps you know someone who could be Snoopy’s best friend?

He has problems with his vision, hearing, weight and allergies. This is all treatable with meds and a special diet, so his prognosis is really good! He is an amazingly happy go lucky dog! He does have to be an only pet. Adoptable at @Benton Franklin Humane Society
