A six-week-old puppy has only known a very cruel life in a very short time, but today is a better day for her. Thanks to the animal advocacy group ThisIsHouston, this puppy was rescued from BARC Animal Shelter in Houston.
And today, this pitiful little one arrived at Blue Pearl Emergency Vet Care & Support and is expected to be scheduled for surgery to remove her eye this evening. She will also be treated for scabies; such sadness in this world for an innocent victim of intentional neglect.
Her name is Kasey.
Precious girl is at the ER now. She’s so sassy despite how crappy she must be feeling.
