In Houston, Texas, we are proud to introduce fans to Van Gogh, one very brave kitty rescued by the Houston SPCA from a car engine and suffered the loss of an ear in his unfortunate ordeal.

According to the Facebook post from the Houston SPCA, rescuers were able to save him, however part of his ear was torn away and burned.

We managed to save him just in the nick of time. despite his challenges, Van gogh’s indominable spirit continues to shine brightly.

Along with contributions via Petsmart Charities, Van Gogh has healed and found his forever family.

The Houston SPCA reminds everyone should you see an injured or animal in distress, to call the organization’s Animal Rescue Ambulance at 713.880.4357.

May you have a long, happy life Van Gogh.
