At the Fort Worth Animal Care & Control Silcox located on Martin Street, in Texas, two bonded German shepherds were surrendered by their owner last week. As of this week, the beautiful one-year-old female shepherds have been spayed and are available for adoption.
One volunteer describes Isis and Raven:
…are the best German shepherds i’ve seen since volunteering there the last two years. If anyone is looking for a pair of GS, these are your girls.

They are located at 4900 Martin St. Fort Worth, TX 76119. Shelter hours are 12pm-6pm every day. Adoptions must be done in person.

Noted as very sweet when “owner” surrendered them due to supposedly moving. Right now, they are shocked and traumatized by the surrender. The main person in their area is spending extra time with them and they are warming up to him but he says they are great. They are extraordinarily bonded so one does what the other does.

In addition, they would do best being adopted together.
They show ZERO aggression but are very stoic in their new surroundings, as they try to figure out what happened and why someone did this to them. They are very well groomed so someone had to take good care of them.

It has become a sad reality to understand how packed the shelters are, and these two will soon be separated if not adopted. Then they will quickly be added to the euthanasia list; it’s the reality of animal shelters across the nation. Dogs who are surrendered by their owners are the first to be put to sleep.
