Cats and dogs have always liked to bring “prizes” home for their human parents. An adorable flea and tick commercial featured a Boxer pooch who brought everything from a woman’s bathing suit top to a neighbor’s shoe home to his family. Cats traditionally have brought us mice, squirrels or here in Florida – lizards and leave them at the front door.
Much to the surprise of TikTok user AmayaSO, her cat found a puppy and brought it home in her mouth. At first the owner thought it was a “rat.”
Our cat just brought this home. I literally thought the dog was a huge rat because the cat was carrying it in his mouth.

There have since been more photos posted of the puppy – one especially adorable one of the puppy scampering around in the yard and the kitty running over him. We do hope it’s all meant as play time, and we are all pretty assured this kitty just loves his new pal.
