Tied up and abandoned, now scheduled to die Aug. 20

A dog who was tied up and abandoned before being taken to New York City’s Animal Care and Control Manhattan facility is scheduled to die on August 20. Her name is Zebra Cake and she is just one year of age.

Her advocate writes:

Shy, gentle, baby’s terrified after tied up+ abandoned! Sweetheart’s desperately trying 2 be comforted. Despite her ordeal, total lovebug w wagging tail.

Notes indicate that this dog is best as an only pet in a household with no children under 13 years of age.
