The Adams County Pet Rescue in Othello, Washington has become the home for 13 abandoned puppies found amid the cattails on the side of the road. The Good Samaritans stopped and first spied a few puppies, but within minutes more appeared – 14 in total. Had Rick and Mike not stopped in time, the puppies so close to the highway likely would have been hit by passing vehicles; as it was one puppy had already met that heartbreaking fate.
The cruelty of dumping puppies is almost beyond comprehension. The pups are young, still making their little grunting noises. .. The puppies will not be ready for adoption for a few weeks.

The puppies are all being fed formula and carefully watched to make sure they are healthy.
