A dog described as a sweet lil bug, is due out of a busy California animal shelter. The two-year-old dog, whose real name is Achillie, has been at the Los Angeles County Downey facility since May 31.

Last week, his advocate wrote:

Sweet lil bug.

Who was a good boy in his kennel his whole stay…

Great in playgroup .. and received no promotion about how wonderful he was.

Please make up for my lack of promotion of him and share him like crazy to adooters looking for a new family member.

He is Due Out Now‼️

And provided additional information about his demeanor:

(he) is social and okay with middle school-age kids and he sat for his treat in his kennels … and been a good boy
♥️ Good Bio..
He’s good looking boy… with so much great stuff and no one knows about him.
He has gorgeous dark brindle coloring with white sneaker paws and a sweet face and he is a nice compact size.
Please ‼️‼️‼️‼️ Start sharing him.

Please share this dog’s information to help him find an adopter or rescue group before it is too late.

  1. SUPER URGENT! THEY WILL DEFINITELY KILL THIS SWEET LIL BUG WITHOUT YOUR HELP! THIS IS A HIGH AND FAST KILL SHELTER!

  2. Look at his eyes, they know when their time is up, they see other dogs taken to the kill room and never come back! For all the good California does they still allow the killing of cats and dogs that end up at rendering plants and their tallow becomes human food, shampoo and soap. Don’t believe me look at the cheap cake frosting ingredients it lists tallow so you’re eating the bodies of cats and dogs.

  3. P.S. The shelters get paid per pound by the rendering plant. You can do internet research and find 55 gallon drum barrels full of dead cats and dogs, puppies and kittens. I have their pictures saved on my computer.

  4. I wish I could foster this precious treasure but I am in Washington state…….

I feel so badly and helpless…….

I hope someone local can open up their heart and house for this precious treasure. He deserves to be with a loving furever family who will treat him as a beloved family member for his entire life……
