Downey, CA – A gorgeous German shepherd, described as submissive and lovable, has been overlooked at the Los Angeles County Animal Control (Downey) facility for months. Her name is Janis and she is just five years of age – she is in the prime of her life and deserves to have a family to enjoy that time with.
Her advocates have stated that Janis is at risk of being put to sleep, describing her personality:
She’s submissive and lovable, Gorgeous and approved to go with large calm dogs. You want in a #gsdlove goofy, silliness, lovability off the roof and beautiful #gsd stance and good with large dogs, ( maybe Littles too but we don’t test with little dogs. Overall Janis has a soft yet quiet demeanor. She remained friendly with the handler and showed no concerning behavior. Large dogs ok.
This is the second plea made on Janis’ behalf, but for reasons unknown, nobody seems to want her.
Please help network Janis’ information – networking saves lives!!
