Update: Adopted for the 2nd time!
An adorable puppy had everything to look forward to when someone chose HER to be their companion. The five-month-old puppy, named Ashlynn, was going to be adopted from the San Bernardino City Animal Control; in preparation for the joyful occasion, she was sent to a veterinarian for her spay surgery.
But there was no happily-ever-after for the pup because her would-be adopter failed to pick her up after the surgery and she was returned to the shelter. The sad situation was shared via social media on Thursday:
RETURNED TO THE SHELTER AFTER ADOPTER FAILED TO PICK HER UP FROM THE VET AFTER HER SPAY SURGERY
#A544382 is listed at a 5 month old female who arrived at City of San Bernardino Animal Services as a stray on 3/1/22
Ashlynn is spayed and ready to go to a new home. Please share her adoption information to help her find a committed, loving new owner who will care for her for the remainder of her life.
