An animal shelter in Virginia is hoping to find a loving home where a senior dog named Kotey can enjoy life as an indoor companion. According to the Richmond Animal Care and Control facility, Kotey’s former owner kept him as a “yard dog,” and surrendered him to their care when they were faced with being evicted.
Shelter notes about Kotey state:
Kotey enjoys the good things in life such as a soft bed, ear rubs, plush toys, and booty scratches. He’s a senior gentleman, so we would consider him to be a low-energy companion.
Kotey is best suited to being the only dog in the household, but he would adore being a pampered pet, with inside privileges, a soft bed, toys, and lots of love. As Kotey is older, a home without stairs would be ideal.
