The Humane Society of Highlands County, Florida is asking for the public’s help with some devastating news concerning a missing dog named Snickers. The favorite staff favorite had been at the shelter for four years and then adopted out four years ago. Just days ago, the family’s house burned down, and it is not known if Snickers survived or escaped. The family is devastated.

The home was located along State Road 17, Lake Letta in Avon Park.

We are all praying he got out of his house that burned down. Lake Letta Avon Park. PLEASE be on the look out for him. His family lost their entire home and maybe their beloved dog.

Please share the photos of Snickers and his story. Someone may have seen him running away from the home. Someone may recognize his photos if shared enough on social media.

If he is spotted, please call 863.873.1916. His family is desperate to find him if he did get out. Hopefully he ran away because he was scared, and hopefully he is not hurt. Please help.
