Sioux Falls, SD – A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty for killing his puppy. As reported by Dakota News Now, the puppy, named Wybie, was killed by 21-year-old Stephen Mcilwain, who was apparently angry that the pup peed on the floor.
Mcilwain and his roommates got two puppies in July and Korey Schuld, who lives in the same house, told the news agency that she worried for Wybie’s safety because Mcilwain had gotten angry with him previously. Things took a fatal turn on Monday when the pup was fatally beaten behind closed doors. Schuld tells the news agency that she knew something was wrong when things went silent, aside from Mcilwain’s crying.
She had “stayed out of it” for hours before finally going into the room and finding the pup. She attempted to perform CPR, but it was too late for little Wybie.
Schuld tells the news agency that she regrets not intervening sooner.

OMG puppies are a 2 year old running around the house without a diaper. Imagine what this monster would do to a baby. RIP little one. This puppy looks like my Ellen. He will get a slap on the wrist.
I agree with you. I would not be his roommate anymore. But I must also say “what a Dumbass.” . When he was a baby he had diapers…the puppy didn’t. Maybe his parents should have beat the shit out of him when he peed and shit his diapers.
