A young dog named Gus has attended 36 adoption events and he is still homeless. Two days ago, the Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue shared Gus’ plight, writing:

My name is Gus. I just attended my 36th adoption event in a row without anyone interested in me. 🥺

Describing Gus’ many glowing attributes:

I LOVE people, am leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. I like car rides, treats and walkies! I have professional level training ongoing currently. I will make someone a good pet some day I just know it ❤️

The hiccup? Gus requires a home with no children under the age of 12 and no other animals (and he needs a yard with a secure fence).

Please help Gus find his forever home by sharing his adoption information with others.

  1. THIS IS “BEYOND” CRIMINAL! THIS ULTIMATE SWEETHEART DESERVES TO BE DEEPLY LOVED! MANY THANKS TO THE RESCUE FOR TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE OF HIM!

  2. Poor precious treasure. He deserves to be in a loving furever family.

The challenge is for placing dogs that must be “only pets”……. Many potential adopters have multiple pets (for example, we have room to add 2 more furbabies to our furry family but also have 4 furbabies as part of our existing family)……. As much as we would love to help a lonely furbaby like Gus, we already have 4 other furbabies’ needs to consider…….. it breaks my heart that we can’t have a furbaby like Gus……..

I hope someone local can open up their home and heart for Gus. He absolutely deserves to be part of a loving furever family…….
