Gardena, CA – In mid-November, an extremely handsome senior German shepherd was taken in as a stray at the Carson Animal Services facility in California. But the dog, PJ, had an owner who told shelter staff that he was unwanted.

Now PJ is hoping that someone will give him a second chance to live out the remainder of his life.

PJ’s original listing at the shelter reads:

My name is PJ and I’m an approximately 8 year old male German Shepherd. I am already neutered. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 11/12. I will be available on 11/16.

After being evaluated at the facility, staff has determined that PJ is suitable for public adoption and they noted that he is tolerant of other dogs. Please g.ive PJ a helping hand by sharing his adoption information. At eight years of age, he should have several years remaining to enjoy with a loving owner. Until that person is found, PJ will be waiting in his kennel, doing the best that he can.
