An enormous goldfish was snagged by British angler Andy Hackett at a fishery in France. It took Hackett more than 25 minutes to reel in one of the world’s biggest goldfish weighing in at 67 lbs. 4 oz.

Jason Crowler put the fish named The Carrot in the BlueWater Lakes fishery in Champagne, France, 20 years ago when it was young. According to People, Crowler put the fish in the lake for the purpose of another type of fish for people to catch.

“We put The Carrot in about 20 years ago as something different for the customers to fish for. Since then it has grown and grown but it doesn’t often come out. She is very elusive.”

After The Carrot took Hackett’s bait, it flipped off to the side and kept going up and down trying to escape. The giant fish is a hybrid species of a leather carp and a koi carp, which are traditionally orange. When the angler saw the bright orange color, he knew it was The Carrot.

The giant fish posed for photos with Hackett and then was released back into the lake. She is reported to be in excellent health and condition.

How cool is that?
