In the Springhill, Kansas area Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary has reached out on social media for help finding Key-Lee Marie a new home.

One can barely imagine how Key-Lee Marie must be feeling after having been with the same family for 11 years. Her owner had a new baby, and felt she would not be able to give her dog enough time. The family described her as sweet, smart, great on the leash, with no behavioral issues.

We cannot comprehend how confused and alone she must feel right now. Miss Marie, we are so very, very sorry. We promise to find you your Furever – one that is truly committed to love you til the very end.

Please understand the purpose of this article is to help Key-Lee Marie find a new home. Although it is perfectly understandable why so many animal lovers have expressed their disappointment, it’s not productive to judge someone’s personal reasons for surrendering their dog. Let’s flood Key-Lee Marie’s photo over social media and collectively help to find her the loving home she deserves.

Hang in there sweet pup.

  1. SORRY–NO SYMPATHY OR UNDERSTANDING! SOME DAY THEY WILL BE SURRENDERING THE BABY!

PLEASE FIND THIS ULTIMATE SWEETHEART SOMEONE WITH A BRAIN AND HEART!

  2. Our neighbors and my dentist both had basset hounds. They were very wonderful companions!!!

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Miss Marie will have a fantastic companion filled with unconditional love!!!

I can’t imagine that a family would ever give up a precious treasure like Miss Marie…….

I love babies but imho, it’s much better to have furbabies in the home with human babies (according to our family physician, it’s healthier). Also, with proper parental supervision, young children can easily learn how to interact with and care for their furry companions. Win-Win for everyone😀😀😀
