Detroit, Mich. – A dog is finally safe, and warm, after his heartless family moved away, leaving him to fend for himself without food or shelter. The time alone took a toll on his body – by the time the Detroit Pit Crew learned of the situation, his body was skeletal.
ABANDONED IN DETROIT
This poor dog was left behind after his owner moved away without him. Neighbors reported that he had been wandering around, alone for 2 weeks, out in the freezing temperatures.
For two weeks, this dog wandered the cold streets, searching for food, searching for warmth, searching for kindness. Thanks to a good Samaritan, the rescue group was alerted and life begins anew.
