Darling senior, Maple, has waited years to be adopted

A beautiful dog named Maple is ready and able to go home with someone who wants to spoil her rotten for the rest of her life. The 10-year-old dog has been at the Howard County Animal Control agency for three years, and now it is time for her to be on her way.

In a wildly popular social media post, the animal control agency says:

This is our lovely Maple. She is a friendly dog who likes to be with people. Maple’s request for you is a large soft dog bed and lots of soft toys for her to carry around. Maple has been with us for 3 long years while she patiently waited for the law to allow her to be adopted and boy is she ready.

According to the agency, Maple loves to meet new people and a good game of fetch. She is also a fan of cuddling.

The agency adds:

This sweet girl is so easy to love and now she just wants a place to call home. She is 10yrs old, spayed and laid back. Maple is on a diet and doing well to shed her extra pounds from all the extra love she has gotten here at the shelter. Her back bothers her sometimes, so getting the extra weight off will help her. Maple deserves to be pampered and loved in her retirement.
