In Brevard County, Florida, Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced the birth of 10 adorable bloodhound puppies by K-9 Daisy Mae. Six male and four female puppies are part of the agency’s K-9 program the sheriff’s office will be using for search and rescue efforts as well as educating and providing awareness to parents and children.
While our agency has always maintained a tremendous team of Bloodhounds that are trained to search for missing children and seniors, we recently started breeding our own bloodhounds to continue the mission of our K-9 Unit and also to help support other agencies across the country that are in need of these amazing dogs that save countless lives each year!!

Two of the puppies, one male and one female, will be finding their new homes at the Brevard Zoo in the new “Bloodhound Exhibit” where they will help to educate the community about the abilities of these remarkable dogs and provide resources building a “child safety kit.”
This new exhibit has been in the works for about 6 months and was only waiting on one thing to get started…Daisy Mae becoming a mom!! The exhibit that will include the two pups will not only tell visitors to the zoo about the incredible abilities of bloodhounds, but will also provide parents with the resources they need to build their own “child safety kit” to help keep their kids safe!!

WTF? Two of the dogs are going to live in a zoo exhibit!? How cruel can you get. Denying these 2 unlucky dogs of a happy warm home with a family that loves them. This is the worst abuse of 2 dogs I’ve ever seen. Shame Shame Shame!
So you deleted my post because I said the poor pups will live a sad life in a Zoo?
Of course not. I’m not online 24×7 and we do have to approve messages which helps to avoid spam.
