Overlooked dog, at shelter ‘way too long’ at risk of being put down

An amicable dog is in dire straits after being overlooked for “far too long” at the Lancaster Animal Services facility in California. The dog, ironically named Freedom, has been locked away since mid-October and nobody seems to want him.

Now he is in grave danger and could lose his life at any moment. On Tuesday, an urgent email was sent regarding Freedom, and the danger that he is in:

I don’t know how much longer Will can keep this dog before he will have no alternative but to put Freedom down…….any takers?

Adding:

Will, who is in charge of the dogs at Lancaster, is working his butt off to save the dogs and not have to euthanize them. He is asking for help to save this dog whom he has had for 102 days!!!!

Freedom is good with small dogs!!! Dominant with large dogs. Please network him he has been there WAY TOO LONG!
